We are extremely grateful for their support. They are highly active participants in our Coastguard
summer ball – making material financial contributions through purchasing tables at the event and
generously participating in fundraising on the night.
Most recently Mills Albert have donated a very material sum to the Unit to support our development
of a new Coastguard shed in Waikanae, in partnership with Waikanae Boating Club, and our
operations more broadly. We have renamed our Waikanae-based rescue vessel “Mills Albert Rescue”
in recognition of this generosity.

Mills Albert is the Principal Community Sponsor of the One NZ Warriors 2026 ANZAC Round Match vs Dolphins
Mills Albert is proud to be the Principal Community Sponsor of the One NZ Warriors 2026 ANZAC Round match against the Dolphins. As part of this partnership, we are thrilled to welcome the One NZ Warriors to the Kāpiti Coast on 23 April.
During their visit, Warriors players will take part in a community engagement event, including a player meet-and-greet, photo and signing sessions, and a training and skills experience for local youth.
Adding to the excitement, former Warriors legends will also take the field in a celebrity tag league match against the Kāpiti Bears Rugby League team.
This partnership also creates a meaningful opportunity for Mills Albert to support grassroots rugby league through a Cash Back for Clubs promotion. Local rugby league clubs will be able to sell tickets to the ANZAC Round match, with a percentage of ticket sales returned directly to the clubs to help fund their community programmes.
The ANZAC Round match will be played on Saturday 25 April in Wellington, with kick-off at 8.00pm.
